Yes you can. Nintendo is taking a different approach to its franchises. Activisons bleeds them dry and then moves on, Nintendo just keeps using them again and again, just not too frequently

And yeah, it is kind of obvious the CoD is the biggest, FIFA is probably the 2nd biggest at the moment, and while the latter will keep selling for ever (unless it is replaced by PES), I do feel that CoD will fall before next gen

Awesome.

Who added the ridiculous 'chomping' noises at 2:04 though? Hilarious, given the context (total annihilation of an entire planet).

If gta starts having yearly releases then it can easily surpass cod each year.

CoD is bigger now, but after a few more years of annual games, overpriced DLC, and increased competition from Battlefield... we'll see just how big CoD is.

Rockstar is smart for taking their time with GTAV to work on other games like LA Noire and I'm assuming they're working on Agent (if its not dead).

The world's biggest mainstream franchises both being rated M should make the industry question how mainstream gaming really is or at the very least it should answer why gaming isn't as ingrained in our society as movies are.

Not really movie watching is a medium were you sit passively and enjoy a story. The very fact that games require more effort to enjoy them ensures they will never be as popular.

His analysis about Call Of Duty being bigger than Grand Theft Auto is correct.

Not let me try being an analyst for a second: Looking down at my feet, I can predict that my socks are white and shoes are black.
