Why can't game companies always be like this, instead of acting arrogant and flinging mud like ten-year-olds?

Umm of course Sony has some respect for Nintendo, Nintendo pioneered the industry. However I don't see this interview as showing respect, it simply shows that Sony's bosses aren't hell bent on running Nintendo into the ground. Sony proves that they see the bigger picture and smart phones are the real enemy.

I think he also realized he can't take credit for something he didn't do. Like the analog stick and the price cut, if he had taken credit for those two things a lot of educated gamers would call his bluff. He was simply saying facts and I respect that, rather then slinging mud.
