I understand that there's no guarantee that they will be system sellers or not, but if a game can get a dead system, like the 360 in Japan, to sell more than 8 times its normal week, there's going to be high speculation that it will push people to buy the 3DS. agreed If that's not your point, then what is? |
ok i must have missed something in your last quote, and yes that was my point i'll look at your previous quote again.
ok i see the sells more then doubled we're good and thanks for the reply and being so cool.

Is that a third party solution? I guess I'm always wary of third party peripherals for anything, especially after going through some bad PS1/2 third party memory cards.

I still think I wouldn't list a third party accessory for a system as a PRO or CON, because we know that third parties make all kinds of accessories/peripherals for systems.
Let me rephrase what I said now. Third party accessories/peripherals aren't a PRO unless there are a lot of reviews/word about it being very good/reliable (I'm thinking maybe 50 reviews or so). Unless it's something that everyone needs to own, then it wouldn't be listed.
Added the PRO of an unlimited 3G data plan for the Vita for Japan. I would think that there would be unlimited data plans for the US, but we still don't have details yet on anything for the Vita outside of Japan.

Particularly considering those blockbusters (see all mario and zelda title), doesnt interest me. With that said, even if they would be of interest to me, I still would prefer more good game over a handful of blockbusters. |
I feel much the same at this point in time.
Personally, I am very excited for the Vita's game line up. They have a lot of RPGs in the works and have a good mix of action, fighting, strategy, and racing games lined up.
I am trying hard to like my 3DS, but I still only have one game for it; I have scoured the game library for something to buy thus far, but even the best of what is on the market is money better spent on regular DS or PSP games.
I feel like I am waiting for 3 Blockbuster 3DS games to be followed by a long game drought, much like it was on the Wii.
Mario Land 3D, Mario Kart 7, and Paper Mario 3D all look fun.
Perhaps someone could point me to some upcoming 3DS games that could compliment those?

I actually sold my cosmo black 3DS a month after release lol. I might buy another one later on though, depending on RPGs. I did re-purchase a Wii just for Xenoblade. But like you said, outside of Nintendo IP, the future isnt so green for the 3DS. Luckily for Nintendo, their usual IPs and monster hunter will be more then enough to make 3DS an enormous success in Japan, but not in my book.
