Maybe better wording could be "big name third party exclusive(s)"? You can't ignore that something like Monster Hunter 3G and MH4 as not being big games for the system, barring they are actually exclusive (for the time being, they are).
agreed but theres still no guarantee MH4 or Monster Hunter 3G will be system sellers. you understand my point right?

Let's look at some sales figures of systems before Monster Hunter releases in Japan (since MH is really big over there).
Monster Hunter Tri (released on August 1, 2009) Wii the week before release - 23k Wii the week during release - 94k Wii the week after release - ~47k
Monster Hunter Frontier Online (released on June 24, 2010) 360 the week before - ~2k 360 the week during release - 17k 360 the week after release - 7.6k
Monster Hunter Freedom 3 (released on December 1, 2010) PSP the week before - ~76k PSP the week during release - ~328k PSP the week after - 152k
I think it's pretty safe to say (I checked to see if any other big releases were released during those weeks, but didn't find anything concrete) that Monster Hunter moves systems in Japan, at least.

lol i'm not disputing the sells. never mind your missing the point just forget about it.

I understand that there's no guarantee that they will be system sellers or not, but if a game can get a dead system, like the 360 in Japan, to sell more than 8 times its normal week, there's going to be high speculation that it will push people to buy the 3DS. agreed
If that's not your point, then what is?

ok i must have missed something in your last quote, and yes that was my point i'll look at your previous quote again.
ok i see the sells more then doubled we're good and thanks for the reply and being so cool.
