I wouldn't get to excited yet. Gears 3 had a 93 when the first patch of reviews came out, so there is a chance of Uncharted 3 going down a little later on. Maybe up, but will see. 

Off-topic: Is anyone else not able to view the reviews for Uncharted 3 on meta? Everytime I click on it, it gives me a "404-Page not found" error.  

Imo Gears is a better game, not by a mile but it's better. It's gameplay is simply more solid it's equally or more difficult but it is fairer, it has better variety of weapons and enemies, better level design, more precise controls, also online it's better. That said Uncharted has better graphics and presentation, so it will probably get a better score.

Looks like Ucharted have a higher metacritic than GoW for now.

U3 is now at 94 with 31 reviews. The 3 reviews at 80s are all from Europe. Damn europeans.....
