Xbox 360 17.7 million
Halo 3 8.1 million
ME 1.6 million
Just to make it clear these are MS sold to retail numbers not userbase.

Goo that's a lot of Halo's shipped haha. They must have really stuffed the market with those eh.
Damn Halo 3 ....... damn!
Mass Effect selling very briskly, too. Nice.
So, about 1.7 million 360s on shelves (and/or rotating through MS warehouses for repairs) worldwide. Believable, I suppose.

Looks like Microsft are already building their defence since being beaten to a pulp on Christmas.

So there are about 1.5 million copies of Halo 3 on retailers' shelves?
Seems unlikely to me. Maybe Halo 3 is undertracked quite alot.
Well this is from MS, meaning its fact haha. But due to hype for the game and Christmas demands, retailers will normally buy more of something despite their may not be that much demand in reality. Just how it works. Meaning until next holidays, you probably won't see that many copies of Halo 3 shipped.

Who beat them to a pulp on Christmas? Oh the Wii?Or are you talking about the ps3 in 'others'. Either way the sky is'nt falling. Still the best selling High Def console in the largest market. Muhaha
MS does have alot of overshipping power, don't they?
Although, going around stores (in the US), I'm seeing Arcades sitting on shelves, but not too many Premiums or Elites.
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY." --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
