Oh yeah the weapon skins are up, I mention this because the lancer Omen (crimson lancer omen is somehow only 80 points) If you want to get a skin pretty cheap =p.

I Bragged to my friend by playing as Cole Train, and using my flaming lancer/gold gnasher.
I was still on a rush after beating act one of campaign... Simply awesome.


Now, we went through the first nine waves with almost no trouble. I gnashered everything I saw and my friend camped at the sniper spawn with a hammerburst. As soon as the boss wave came, I knew it was going to be bad so I told my friend to get ammo and stick together AT ALL TIMES. As soon as the wave started I desperately looked back and forth like a sniper trying to spawn camp until I saw IT.. A BERZERKER. Immediately, I yelled to my friend "Berzerker, LEFT SIDE!" His response?


"Um, there's one on the right side to..."

Ohhhh my god..

And so began our desperate struggle to eliminate TWO berzerkers with no hammer of dawn to boot. We almost immediately had to evacuate our fort when BOTH of those big women busted through our barb wire walls with NO effort. We went running scared into the building where the pistols spawn. Hello ARMORED KANTUS

I have never felt so terrified in Gears of War before. And many screams of "OH F*** AND S*** LOOK OUT" were let loose.
After TEN minutes of running scared and basically running out of ammo, we found out that the scorcher was the key to killing them. Game, set, match.


Epic, I'm a little flustered about the dlc skins. But the instant I loaded up this game and started playing, I INSTANTLY forgot all about that and just played.. Your game wins Epic. It wins so hard.

Now who's pumped to get this game tonight?

5 hours to go and I have no work for another 48 hours. Bliss.

I know a few Game managers who have this already. They say it blows 1 and 2 away. The campaign being both humurous and massively scaled. Apparantly theres a section with hundereds of creatures and an amazing explosion sequence. Oh how my mates tease me. Damn you.

Cant wait. Gears of War is one of the best franchises this generation has seen.

by the numbers GEARS3 is betting COD on PS3 and 360 combined! here are the numbers for comparison.

gap in preorders: 336,343

while battlefield may not beat COD, GEARS will for some time.

i just got a 360 less than a month ago so i've just gotten into Gears of War, and i'm happy to know that the third will be great. currently working my way through the first's campaign haha

I refuse to read the thread. I can't play at all until tomorrow night after work, either. I pre-ordered ant Gamestop a couple of weeks ago. At the time, they wouldn't let me order the Limited Edition, stating that it wasn't available yet. I was told to call back, later. Finally, after trying for days, I call back today only to be told, "Oh, we're sold out of that version. We are no longer taking pre-orders for the limited edition."

So what the fuck? I pre-order and I still come up short? I'm tempted to cancel my order and try my luck at Wal-Mart. I hate to lose my pre-order DLC, though....and I don't even know what my pre-order DLC even is.

Just character skins :).   I am getting two character skins =D.

Can't wait for this game. Got maybe 10 more hours till this is spinning in my 360. After work, will need alcohol to lubricate the waiting time I think.

By the way, if anyone has a Mechanic Baird download they are willing to trade, let me know. I have a free PC copy of Dirt 3 I'm willing to trade.

Gears of war 3!!!!!!! can't wait almost here, multiplayer is first for 3 years then i'll play the story = D
