lol I was posting in a thread and I hit submit. When I did it said error and gave me a message about it being restricted access. I went back and tried again getting the same error message. Then I tried going to VGChartz.com and I got a forbidden message saying I was not allowed to access the VGChartz website from this computer. I was stunned I tried accessing the forum and page for about five minutes through various different links and got the same error message every time. Forbidden access.

I was beginning to freak out so I went to my hotmail to see if I got any notifications from VGChartz. I was seriously freaking out, I thought that I got an IP perma ban. Then after another few minutes of trying to access the site I finally got in, everything is working fine. I'm not sure what exactly happened?

So I quickly checked my messages and notifications here on VGChartz and their was nothing in my inbox. I did recently say some controversial things but nothing I would think that would get me banned, let alone permabanned.

I am so relieved to see I am still here. A quick question for the mods I know in the agreement we signed it says that we don't need to be notified or given a reason for a ban. But if you issue a perma ban do you inform the user that he has been banned or does that user just show up and find out he can't access the site?

Also I haven't gotten a warning or ban in a very long time, would I be permabanned for an offense even though I don't have a track record of offenses?

That scared the shit out of me, has anybody ever had that happen to them?

You need to clear your browser cache ... if that doesn't work you also need to clear your cookies..
The site clogs up and gives that error..

Yah that was the first one I got. But I also got one that said "Forbidden" and said I no longer could access the site from my IP address. I got like three different messages depending on where I tried accessing. The forum gave me one, but trying to access the homepage gave me a different one. Then I got a third one trying to access pages through google.

The other two specifically stated access denied or forbidden. Which is what lead me to think I might have been banned!

Being banned isn't fun, posting is fun and I want to keep doing it!
