They're also releasing a portable charger so is an external battery really necessary?

Plus the vita was tested without using speakers, no wifi, default brightness, and OLEDs are great skewing energy consumption as they're great with energy consumption for black but white can use serveral times the power of displaying black

a neat case that not only protects the device but doubles the battery life of the device would be requirement. Because every gamer will buy a protective case, and one that doubles the battery life to say 6-10 hours will be mandatory requirement to have. .

I wonder what Activision thinks of the little CoD comment, also if CoD is still coming to Vita does this mean that the campaign is only going to take 3-hours to complete? That would be a huge blow for Activision and severly limit its ability to sell well on Vita. Of course great online multiplayer may still sell the game.

As for the Microsoft comment, Kaz stop pointing out that Microsoft sucks in Japan. We all know that none of the Japanese gamers give a shit about Microsoft but thats no reason to rub it in their faces. Maybe a comment of condolences would be nicer, saying something like "Dearly beloved today were gathered together to mourn the loss of Microsoft, I know only one of you showed up but maybe Nex-Box will bring in a second".

Although I gotta admit both cheap shots were pretty funny, maybe this is where Kevin Butler gets his ideas!

On topic if and when I purchase a Vita this battery pack will likely be the first accessory I buy. However I am a little sceptical about how it will work. I can't see an add on device keeping the Vita looking and feeling as sexy as it appears to now without it.

LOL yeah sorry guys thats a fake account, the guy that uses it bashes Sony as much as the competition, but he does have some gems of posts every so often :)

Some guy on youtube says that the PSV is now doomed. An optional peripheral for a portable console that improves functionality equals doom these days. It applies to the 3DS so I guess it applies to the PSV. Rules are rules.
