Looks great. From what I've heard the levels are usually somewhat bite-sized too, which adheres to the nature of the portable market. Most importantly though, it just looks fun.

Personally I think it's wise to release this Mario game now for the holidays (along with Mario Kart), keeping the next 2D outing in the cannon for a 3DS sales spike in the future.

Oh please. The mere existence of a switch in that one specific scene shows that you can play the game just fine with 3D turned off. We just watched a 2D video and could see the actual position of the coin. All activated 3D is going to do is making you realize where what is without pressing such a switch.

If that isn't the case, then I will rage. I don't want to play a game and have my eyes tearing after 20 minutes.

Look Rol.  I know you love Nintendo but your blind defense of the 3DS is becoming embarrasing.  Now they already announced that the 3DS Zela is going to make use of the 3D in gameplay and now, this.  It's just a matter of time before they make a game all about spotting which coin stands out because of the 3D.  Just admit that the 3DS is an abortion of a system and that the PSV is awesome.  You'll be a lot less stressed and you'll live longer.


If you don't get banned for this then blasthamy!

I have played every mario up until 64 (1,2,3,world,etc.). I did not own gamecube thus did not play sunshine. I tried new super mario bros on Wii but was not overly a fan.

I actually lied, I have played and beat Galaxy 1 & 2 and enjoyed them FAR more than NSMB (I forgot!)
