I found this to be a very interesting read and I found it to be pretty accurate for myself.  Give it a read and see if you agree.

I don't agree with points 4 or 5, but they other 3 seem true.

5 - I love multiplayer, I've wasted the last year of my life in Black Ops, nuff said.

4 - I only somewhat agree with this.  As I've gotten older I've started to only really care about the main story line of a game and hardly ever both with side quests, but I don't mind if the main story takes a long time to complete.

3 - This one seemed spot on to me.  When I was a lot younger and Kingdom Hearts 1 came out, I thought it was the greatest story ever told.  Recently I bought FF13 and the story is just...stupid.  Everything about it is just over the top and aweful.  And I thought to myself "Oh man KH1's story was so good I wish they could have made it more like that."  However, its not that FF13's story is ass and KH1's was a masterpiece, its that KH1's story was ALSO ass but my 12 year old mind didn't know any better.

2 - Its true.  There are clones now, there were clones then.  Its just that now the dominant genre is FPS thus why all the clones are FPS's

1 - This point just kind of sums up the whole article.  When your a kid everything is new and fun and as you get older you get jaded.  Kids these days are growing up on Gears, Uncharted, and CoD.  In 12 years guess what?  They'll probably be complaining about everything we complain about, but instead they'll be reminiscing about the good ol' days of Black Ops and GTA4.
