Well, the Ni No Kuni「二ノ国」limited ed. PS3 bundle is gold, unfortunately, it's also Japan only. That's a nice looking blu-ray player.

Never understood why Sony hasn't released many different colors here in the US. While I know it wouldn't give them gazillions of new sales, it would definitely give them a nice little boost for awhile. And it doesn't seem like it would take much to do it, either. Personally, I want a black one.

Yeah I can't imagine it would be that hard to make more PS3's in different colors to sell in the US.

What I don't understand is why doesn't the US market get their own special edition PS3s for when their big games come out? I could picture an awesome PS3 with a design for Uncharted, Resistance/Ratchet & Clank, MAG/Socom, or Infamous.
I want a green ps3 :(

I'm not sure but it makes no sense...the US has the userbase where those would sell at least decently.

Yeah, all we get are bundles (seem they rarely are released around the release of the game, too), but the limited edition PS3s usually include the game in Japan, I believe. It does make no sense.

Yea, I don't get it either. Those custom consoles would help push tens of thousands of extra consoles and with very little effort from Sony at all. Reminds me of this article: http://ps3maven.com/sony-ps3-mods/
Can you imagine how many PS3s Sony would sell if they had put out a limited edition run of that MGS mod? Or something similar for the games you listed?
