Lol, I recognized his trademark 'ooooh' before I actually saw him. xD
Now all we need is Tingle for this game to be complete.

+1 !!
Will be excited for the HD game. This game has possibilities for fun, but I still do not hear voices and only grunting. Still waiting for Zelda to become more open world like. It will never happen, but I will always hope.

I have no idea why people are bothered by this voice business. I prefer to read it. Games with voices need to have immediate skip abilities because I want to play the game rather than wait for people to witter on at me. I can read the text far, far faster than they can speak it. Gaming is about playing and action rather than passively staring at cut scenes.
Yes.

Gaming has evolved to be many things. It should still rely on great gameplay, but I will never be drawn into caring about characters when they seem like mindless mutes. I think this game should include voice withe option for text only because it would thrill many to have better developed characters with more personality while still pleasing those who like text. I gave up on text last gen and this just seems outdated.

This has been heavily discussed on these forums before... Most people wouldn't mind voice acting in Zelda games but not for Link
@the gaming has evolved bit, plenty of recent games that have silent protagonists (Dead Space, Half-life...etc)
If they do ever give Link a voice, I hope it's a well suited one

I know it has been heavily discussed, but I do not join in the Nintendo discussion very often so I make my opinion clear when I feel like it. Also I am not just talking about main characters voice, but every character. Not many games of the portions of Zelda lack audio dialogue. So your examples are not not a close comparison especially since deadspace 2 added a voice to Issac after recognizing it added a lot to the game. Zelda would also benefit from this.

I agree, it would have to be done right, but I think it's high time for some voice acting in Zelda. Not sure about Link, I think it might sound odd if he alone is silent... (although Link doesn't say much in text either, perhaps Link could be promoted to being like the NPCs currently are, ie being able to answer yes/no/ok with grunts and body language).
I don't quite understand how you can't care for characters just because you have to read what they say though. I like a lot of them despite lack of speech.
