I prefer numbers to letters or stars.
I like vague comparisons to similar games.
I like funny reviews. I don;t care much about your gaming history, but I'd like if you mentioned how much you like/don't like the genre being reviewed and mentioned any other little details about yourself which could have influenced your review.
The typical length of GamrReview's reviews are ok. I want both a video and written review and they should compliment each other .i.e the written review should tell me stuff I won't see/notice in a 3 minute video.
No spoilers. Stop revealing at the point where the previews stopped revealing.
Details on the control scheme(I don't mind if you actually tell me what every single button does but that's not neccessary) and most importantly, the mechanics.
PLEASE, write the review with the assumption that I haven't played a single game in the series before! It's annoying when reviewers who have played hundreds of games for over a dozen years complain about aging mechanics in a game in which I've probably only played 1 title with said mechanics.
