Ryan Reynolds?Puuuhh-lease..
Until recently I was one of the few people with over 5000 posts and more posts than profile views.
Alas, a few hundred people have viewed my profile recently and it has overtaken my post count.

Your prophecy?

See, that's the thing. Don't go out of your way to be noticed. If you love VGChartz, then post your opinions where they apply. And be yourself. If you're a playful person in real life, be playful here. If you're an asshole in real life, be an asshole here. Some of my personal favorites on this site are people who have no desire to be "famous" (and believe me, being popular on this site doesn't translate to being popular in the real world.)
Oldschoolfool is often sad and depressed.
Rol is a prankster, Nintendo fan (I think....), and very smart.
Twesterm takes no shit and is well balanced.
Badgenome is a crazy genius.
Leatherhat loves PS3 and wants to see it doing well.
CGi is always fair, balanced, and knowledgeable.
Disolitude is a know it all when it comes to tech and fighting games.
Brendude is like a cool little brother.
Art of Angels (look him up) told us a lot about his personal life, warts and all.
Nintendo Fan Girl (Tino Vainamorphinpowerranger) was naive, innocent, and crazy!
Wesslewoggle loved his drugs.
None of these people (and I could name a ton of others) seemed to go out looking for attention. They just were who they were. They had/have unique personalities and it was interesting to see their contrasting points of view intertwining. That's what made them memorable.
So be yourself, post what you believe in, and don't hold back. Who you are will shine through. Trying to be someone you're not will only turn people off.

"Life is but a gentle death. Fate is but a sickness that results in extinction and in the midst of all the uncertainty, lies resolve."
I have never spammed the site, I may not be the most popular user but I have followers and have definatly been noticed. It takes time to get noticed it doesn't happen over night and it doesn't happen through attention grabbing. I've been a user for what four years and I am only becoming more popular now.
Still when I competed against my fellow Canadians as the top Canadian user I only got one vote. I ranked at number 3 on rankings last month. Though that has slipped alittle this month to the 30's. But I'm still considered one of the bigger users.
My advice to getting noticed is get involved. Write threads don't just reply, nobody is going to remember the 150th reply in a popular thread but they will remember the user who created the thread. Also avoid pissing people off if you don't have too, I pissed many people off something I think has prevented me from becoming as popular as other users.
Post on as many boards as possible. Their are certain users who stick to certain boards those users may become popular on those boards but outside of them in the general site their popularity is down!
In the end spammers don't become popular. People don't like them, trolls same thing. If you wanna become popular be an active member of the forum!

Ouch. That's uncalled for. |

Well... I got noticed on my old account without spamming... Yes I was quite famous(infamous?)...
Probably had to do with all my stoner logic, the incident with my cousin that I documented on here...

Don't worry, it was just an example. For you a picture of yourself as an avatar will do.
