They were hinting that this might come west since shortly after it launched in Japan last July. What took them so long? Nice to see it finally happen though. Hopefully it gets a North American release. I definitely wouldn't mind picking up one of these.

I imagine it's matte like all redesigned PS3s. Personally, I prefer matte finish with glossy accents.

But dirt/dust will stuck in the bumpy bits... and thats so damn hard to clean!

Not sure, the link doesn't mention anywhere specific except for Australia. Chances are it's for the entirety of Europe.

Apparently they're worldwide.. But I've never even seen one in Scotland..?!

But if I wanted a PS3 it'd be ridiculous to buy one from somewhere other than myworkplace. Damn exclusives :(

Only an online store and they only just started recently

Annoyingly, they have got the Uncharted 3 Explorer Edition exclusively for £105, despite it being almost identical to the US one that retails for $99...

true, glossy white looks good and is easy to wipe down, if its matte then discolouration builds up

Actually, there _are_ brick-and-mortar GameStop stores in Italy, Germany, Spain, France, Ireland and probably other european countries.

I know there are at least 3 of them within 20 Kms from where I live.
