I spit on this game.
Really they even added freaking multiplayer just because everything those days "must" have it.

I only wonder if this or new UFO will be bigger piece of crap.

Jumping the gun abit? I understand that you only care about SP, but that doesn't mean R* can't add in MP for those that want it. If it turns out that MP did infact dampen the SP experience, then you can spit on the game, but until then you have nothing to complain about.

Agreed. Just look at the Uncharted franchise, multiplayer didn't hurt the quality did it?

Nope, quite the contrary IMO. In fact, the only game that introduced multiplayer & was a worse game is Bioshock 2. However, one has to consider that it was developed by a new development team different from the original Bioshock AND the MP itself was handled by a completely different team. I doubt the MP affected the SP much.

I can't think of a single game that introduced MP and was worse because of it. In fact, the games are usually better. Uncharted 2 and Dead Space 2 being two good examples.

Well, unless you could go into an alternate reality where you play the game had they not made the multiplayer, you'll never know if tacking on multi made the SP mode worse.

No, just explaining why you can't think of a single game that introduced MP and was worse because of it

MP is just a cherry on top of that cake baked with everything that is wrong in this game.

So far it is almost sure for top3 place on my shameless grave digging by attaching old legendary IP to random game for marketing purposes list.

Well, in that case I apologise. It was I who jumped th gun assuming you were rejecting the game solely because it has MP.

For the second sentence, I know who you feel. Not with Max Payne 3 specifically though. SOCOM 4 was not a SOCOM game at all. Hitman: Absolution looks like it's following the same trend.
