gears or no gears, ps3 is gonna have a full month of new price. if it doesnt do better than this month something is wrong. also imo, gears impact wont be near as big as this pc deal going on with the 360.  when gears 2 released, 360 only jumped by 20k and it was november at the time. gears is a monster software seller but not really a BIG hardware seller like some like to make out

Doesnt really matter... Playing Mw on Ps3 is like comparing a Cat to a Dog... Plus the game is advertised in US like a 360 Exclusive, even on Europe. i dont even know why so many people like to play FPS on Ps3, the online is so outdated and the controller is horrible... i guess mostly are casual gamers that dont give a shit lol. Also Mw3 Xbox special edition is Xbox Only. That will move as many as they can do.

console preference among the current HDs for this gen are likely to carry over to next gen, the MS dominance we see in US and UK could start spreading to more regions next gen and even get more MS dominated in US and UK

if i were sony i would start rolling out with some bundles for US i dont really recall sony doing many in that region something like two or one older good exclusive games for $249, similar to what MS has done in the past years during this time cause unless we see something different for sep. (there have been some excuses thrown out like supply, only half month of price drop ect.) a $249 160gb aint going to cut it

as for MS its a rap they will most certainly out sell the other two by quite some margin now that wii sales are lower than last year, the majority of consumers that bought a wii years past during the holidays will most likely move to MS, on top of that NPD hasnt even started recording walmart and such something that they said will come soon. you thought youd see high MS you aint seen nothing yet

This year it should stay at 33-34M, awesome numbers!

Meanwhile, Psp is dead eveywhere except in Japan... I wonder what will happen to VITA, they wont survive only with the Japanese marke, if Vita fails in West, it will be as dead as Psp on both 3rd party and 1st party games.
