It did take forever for gays to be able to join the military without concealing the fact. Also, I sometimes wonder why many of the republicans want to waste their time making an anti-gay marriage amendment. Seems kind of stupid to me.

Yes, of course. But osamanobama will just ignore this very obvious facts and accuse others of what he is most guilty of.

what im i guilty of?

also, DOMA was the law no longer is.

and even if it was, theres still no "right" i have that gays dont. the law was, recuiters dont ask anybody about their sexual orientation, and nobody tells about their sexual orientation.

So again please inform me of what rights i have that gays dont, or are you just going to hide behind the facade of false superiority and say its not worth you time (when in reality its because you dont have an answer)

You've mixed up the acronyms. DADT (Don't Ask, Don't Tell) was repelled, not the extremely discriminitory DOMA (Deffence of Marriage Act).

And Don't Ask, Don't Tell was a discriminatory policy, because it only applied to homosexuals. Homosexuals were not allowed to serve in the military, but it was OK according to DADT if they were closeted (meaning if they pretended to be straight). And there was actually nothing wrong with asking about someone's sexual orientation (don't remember hearing of any cases of soldiers discharged for asking if someone is gay). And a gay soldier didn't have to reveal his sexual orientation in order to be discharged. If someone found out he was gay (for example, snooping around his stuff and finding something 'incriminating'), the gay soldier would get reported and thrown out, because he was gay, and gays weren't allowed in the military. Also, no one was discharged for revealing they were openly heterosexual, and that's because heterosexuals were allowed in the military.

DADT was basically 'gays can serve in the military, as long as they pretend to not be gay, because gays aren't allowed'. This is discrimination plain and simple, though I'm not surprised YOU are having trouble seeing why.

And I do have an answer, and it's such an obvious answer, that the fact that you can't see it discourages me from even bothering with you. YOU and PEOPLE LIKE YOURSELF aren't really worth even what I've written so far.

i did mix up the acronyms (though i do know about, both just accedentally put DOMA)

anyway correct me if im wrong, but before DADT was reppealled could gays serve in the military. (hint: yes).

correct me again if im wrong, currently gays can be openly gay in the military. (hint: yes again).

so please do inform me of what "rights" i currently have that gays do not. you still havent given me an answer. could it be because there is none.

please i would just like one "right" i have that gays dont. any.

1. No they couldn't, else they wouldn't have been discharged if people foubd out they were gay.

2. No they can't untill late September.

3. You've already mentioned yourself something related to a right straight people have, and gay people don't. Look at your previous post.

I believe he is referring to DOMA.  Which only a few blue (liberal) states allow gays to marry.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

and DOMA applies to all citizens of the US.

not just one group

I may be off topic, but one of the things that annoys me the most about this video is that they automatically assume that only kids are going to be playing this. One of the guys says "let kids be kids" and that games like this will freak kids out about world issues.

I completely forgot that only kids play games and thus content that tackles real world issues have no place in that medium.

not just one group

Sounds like propaganda to me.  Of course it's aimed at one group.  An example of government getting into people's personal choices.  It's like saying segregation applies to all citizens.  Of course one group got the shaft more than the other in that case.
