Forums - General - Is ethnic cleansing always a bad thing?

ethnic cleansing is good but it also depends on the situation

What the fuck?

Oh, it's you again. I'm not surprised.

I made this topic as a test - labelling this act "ethnic cleansing" to make it seem like a really bad thing. I then posted both sides of the story, and let you guys comment.

Nobody was on the side of the gypsies here (thankfully)- but there are still hundreds of people that are joining facebook groups etc. to help stop this camp from coming down. Why would some people act like this when they clearly deserve to get evicted?

there's tons of demonstrations for people who have immigrated illigally, this is quite similar... why would you want to defend people comming illegaly to your contry, taking jobs, costing money (healthcare) and often bringing crime too?

the only logic is if you believe that the world should be one country with every one having equal rights and equal access to everything... yet I don't see the people supporting illegal immigrants giving away all their wealth to these people and living as a 15th century monk...

and Oh, it's you again

its good for the people of majority.

you should syau with ur own people as it gives people a sense of belonging and thats how they work.

you can't just cry about things and go and populate other people's land and mooch off their work

I admit I haven't read the article but from what I gather they're being moved because they're there illegally, right? I wouldn't really call this ethnic cleansing since they're aren't evicting them because they're gypsy's, they're evicting them because they're there illegally.

If they break the law, then justice should be done. Fuck hiding behind the shield of ethnicity.

This...All the way.

They're not Romani I don't think - they're Irish Travellers. And no this isn't ethnic cleansing, the law does not target a specific ethnicity. It just happens that in this case the people breaking the law are all of a single ethnicity.
