The CIA has been doing the US immoral dirty work for years, under both parties. Putting a top secret label on the tapes, making sure that the most that could happen would be to have a couple of congressmen watch them, would be reasonable. Destroying tapes is not.

It's not a matter of left or right, but of authoritarianism vs government by the people. I guess Albionius there trusts everyone with a badge. Rational people don't.

Clinton's real problem is that she's a 'Moral Democrat', which will legislate morality, and spend about as much as Bush, just in different programs. A 'think of the children' democrat, just like she was when his husband was president. She's not all that different from Bush in foreign policy.

I'd guess most of it stems from the fact that when Bill was president she made a lot of policy, or atleast tried too without holding an official position and most people didn't know she had government expierence before bill got elected.  Of course most people don't know she was a goldwater republican either.

 Personally I think he should of given her an official position himself.  There policy was so different anyway, the stuff she did often seemed like it wasn't the stuff a lot of people voted for.

 Call me biased, but I don't think that now is a good time for any Clinton to be in office. Her husband was a liar and an idiot, whats to say she is any better? From what I've seen of her and her policies, shes if anything worse.

 That's because the republican crusade against Clinton cost the republicans... badly.  The democrats don't see much point when they can just run out the clock and use any further bush screwups for political gain.

 The only real problem with the US govermental system is no accountability.  We just go from electing one group of idiots to another, swapping groups of idiots each time one of them makes too big of a mistake, letting us bail instead of fixing our mistakes because that was "The other parties problem and mistake."

ALL Politicians are liars. You think Bush hasn't lied? And he was far from an idiot. We had a budget surplus, a growing econmy, great foreign relations, positive domestic growth, improvement in government policies on the environment (all of which have been flushed down the toilet in 8 years,) and since the republicans in the Legislature couldn't find any POLICY problems with Clinton they went after his personal life.

I hate Hillary because she is a hypocrate. She voted for the Iraq War, for the Patriot Act, and has recently come out in support for the Cuban embargo, which was basically an attempt to buy votes. She also moved to New York (my state) simply because she knew she had a chance winning here. Also, she has been one of the most vocal senators in this odd war on violent video games that seems to have been growing over the years.

The funny thing about that is you never hear any one complain about violent WAR games. No one complains about WWII games, which are just as bloody and violent as, say, GTA. I guess people in our country feel its OK to kill people only if you are wearing a uniform.

We know the 4 guys claimed to have been named died within a week of the story being leaked by a CIA interrogator.  Of course it's speculation as is the torture claim.  It was a lot easier when we outsourced the job of interrogating (in that case really torturing) terrorists to Arab countries under Clinton but oh well.

Hillary a moralist? Seriously? Ok, anyways I've indulged you too much as it is.

Wait, when did Clinton have to leave house?  Last I checked he served out two complete terms.
