Hideo Kojima has confirmed that Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker HD will support four player online co-op on PS3 and Xbox 360.

The Metal Gear creator published a picture of the game running on four screens earlier today - whether it'll support split-screen isn't clear - and also reiterated that the title will run at 60 frames per second.

"Final co-op on "MGS PW" HD collection. By using infrastructure mode connection (via PlayStation Network/XBOX Live)," he said on Twitter. "4 people can co-op and it is 60 frames. During loading, characters' dialogues pop up at random."

The game's set to arrive this November as part of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, which will also feature updated versions of PS2-era titles Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3.

Back in June, publisher Konami released a short video showing off Peace Walker HD in action.
