Yeah, when I was looking at the results I was like "whoever got 700k total sales and still lost is extremely unlucky" - I also faced against Fifa, but I had no big releases to lose

so how do you get a free transfer,can you book them in or is it first come first serve after a particular time

hmmm i disagree with almost everything you said in that post.

Firstly luck has got nothing to do with it. It was our jobs as players to find out when games will be releasing, this to me is/was the most important part of the game. The only parts of the game i put down to luck is the position you get to draft in which round and the actual sales of games (although that is part of the game as well predicting and estimating). But knowing exact release dates and timing release dates well enough to give you a chance at winning weekly matchups is everything in this game. And since you were indeed "lucky" enough to be able to pick a game like gears...then the consequenses of that decision falls on you and not luck. 

Also the match ups were posted pretty early on.

That being said gears will have strong sales going forward into the holiday and its a good choice imo, but you dont seem to realise how good of a choice it was even though it was your choice  ? And i can ssure you you will definately win a few rounds.

BTW i messed up a bit on my choice of dark souls, i thought id get japan sales in as well. Although in my defense my options was limited.

And then to address your suggestion of how match ups should work....well that simply wouldnt work at all for various reasons. Some games dont even release until decemeber in which case it would just be a case of picking games that come out early. There wouldnt be as much strategy in it as their is now in getting a good spread of sales across the weeks. Which is what i think is the real interesting part of the game. And if you look at it from that perspective you will see that out other choice are not redundant at all. My "other choices" got me a win this week and to be honest that was kinda planned :P

Sorry if i come off a bit harsh i dont mean to i just think these things should have been thought off and not simply blame the game format.

not really i'd say its unlucky getting matched up against one of the 2 players out of 11 that could beat me when people choose early strong contenders as opposed to late ones

but i did mess up as i could have gad fifa ps3 but i thought it was coming out a bit later and i thought gears was going to arrive on week 1,my bad

and what big release did you come up against to make a difference,if you had your other choices don't matter,that is what i was saying,if you are unlucky enough to come up against a new release each week which you weren't and i don't recall seeing any match ups before the picks were chosen but maybe thats just me my computer was broken for  a week in the draft,

I stil dont see that as luck you will win the weeks coming up im sure of it. Not every week you will come up against a new release.

And i didnt come up against a big release this week, so between me and pavolink it was all about our other choices. So i dont see how those are redundant, they play an important part for winning you rounds when you dont have your round 1 game out yet. Similarly next week (or this week rather) between me and radishhead, its also gonna be about all our other pics. And i will come up agaisnt a lot of weeks where people have big releales it happens its part of the game, and i will lose those rounds. But when my big release comes then il win a few weeks.

I know I'll be making my week 2 predictions late, so late to the point where they probably aren't valid anymore, but I can't make them until tomorrow. lol So busy with work and school.

Today is the last day for predictions for week 2. Starting next week I think I have to change it to predictions can be made until Americas numbers are up. For awhile it seemed like they were coming on Tuesday, but this week it was Monday. I want to give as large of a time frame as possible for people to make predictions, but it is not fair for some people to make them before the numbers are posted and others after (if numbers are going to continue to be posted before Tuesday).
