They are afraid of realizing you can have a game without having a 9 hour shit movie attached to it?
Or maybe it's that they need the scrub-crutch (patent pending) that is a 3rd person camera?

speak for yourself.

I hope you realize that logically your statement made no sense. Unless you meant that I realize that you don't need a 9 hour shit movie in your game, then it's true.

As I said your options are yours the wider gaming community thinks otherwise.

Again... I am fairly sure the options in DE >> MGS, considering that MGS doesn't have nearly as many option of playing the game as DE. Just saying.

Unless you meant opinion (it doesn't even have a 't' in it....) in which case I can easily counter by saying that the widespread opion is that Twilight is is one of the greatest books ever. That should make your point null and void right there (I have even more examples of how laughably bad "widespread opinion" is if you want more).

Who says Twilight isn't one of the greatest books ever?

The set of people who have more than 3 brain cells. In fact, I'll be generous, 4 brain cells.

Because I'm satisfied with my current library of games. Maybe when this can be found in the discount bin.

Could the same be said for MGS?

I think you missed the point. Though it does take an extraordinary amount of patience to sit through 9 hours (or was it 9 huors and 45 mins?) of shitty cgi movies in the case of MGS4.

I liked those cutscenes. I remember the twenty minute sequences in Xenosaga, felt like watching a full-length episode of anime. Nothing wrong with cutscenes unless you're impatient.

It's not shitty, it's just misunderstood.

I'm fairly sure I have heard that from someone else... oh wait... a Twilight fan. I guess there IS a similarity between it and MGS4 after all.

I'm waiting to get it until I get a new rig, coming within two months. I need to max this thing!
The original Deus Ex is one of my all time favorite games!
