Confirmed in latest Nintendo Dream... apparently.

The latest issue of Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream has an interview with Xenoblade developer Monolith Soft, who confirm they’re currently at work on a new role-playing game for 3DS.  

That’s all according to one NeoGAF poster — meaning that we can’t exactly verify anything quite yet.

Apparently, it’s the third entry in a series, causing forum posters to speculate the studio is crafting Baiten Katios 3 for the handheld.

In late June, the developer confirmed a project for Wii U. Prior, the above artwork appeared on the studio’s website.

Golden Sun would be fourth, possibly (but highly unlikely) Star Tropics? or is that not an RPG?

So unless they jumped the gun in assuming that very BK looking concept was a Wii title ... whats the Wii U title then if its the 3DS JRPG is BK3?

Yeah, but to my knowledge, Moonlith hasn't developed any of those games.

It could be 'Chrono 3', but that would only occur in my dreams...

BK3 is the obvious and most likely answer, but I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be a Super Robot Taisen game.
