Forums - Sales - Predict the sales: Rise of Nightmares (X360/Kinect) (TV Advertising, rising the sales)

I heard SEGA is advertising the game on TV's!

At least here in Spain.

Around the Network

First week will probably be about 30-40k

Lifetime will probably be about 400k if it gets ok reviews and 700k if it gets good reviews.

I saw the ad last night on WWE RAW. It's not on youtube yet but it was hilarious. Some guy was strapped to a chair yelling, "Make it stop! Make it stop!" The camera pans back to show that he was watching some cutesy Kinect dancing avatar game.

Anyway, I predict 50k the first week. 800k-1m lifetime  that it won't sell very well at all........

(Stealth edit ftw!)

Amazon has no stock: "In stock on September 9, 2011."

50k

I originally thought a couple weeks ago that it would sell around 30K week one and 200K - 250k lifetime WW. After seeing recent reviews, and the big add campaign they seemingly are doing those numbers have increased. Also as carlosmp noted Amazon is out of stock. That implys to me they under estimated sales, and had to order more to put in stock. My first week estimates are 60K and life time at 600-700K. Its possible for it to hit 1 mill but I personally doubt it. It looks to be a pretty good kinect game non the less.

Well so far today Metacritic has this game at a score of 58. So a lot of mixed reviews. At first it was getting some positive reviews. The rest have been more down hill. I guess we will see how this game sells in next weeks figures.

Yeah, with the influx of bad reviews, I don't see this game doing as well. 40k first week (thanks to early adopters). 200,000 lifetime. :(

There aren't only bad reviews and it seems player like it, anyway, i'm seeing a lot of ads on tv, newspapers, and webs at least here in Spain, I think it's gonna sell more than I predicted.

I predict it will sell 19k first week and 30-50k overall.
