So far SS has everything I was expecting:

1) Unique art style (far better than that soulless HD Wii-U E3 demo)
2) Wii Sports Resorts controls (never a Zelda game was so imersive)
3) Tons of puzzles and action

But I would like to see:

1) A new Zelda developed by a new team, it could be a spin-off for the 3DS.

2) Zelda U to have the Wii Remote+ as the default controller (can't see how the WiiPad can be better than the Wii Remote+ for the series)

If the Wii U Zelda demo is soulless, then all HD gaming is soulless.

Can't say I feel the need for it change drasticly, but hell, I'm simple-minded and easy to please. Lol

When I was a child I had an Atari 2600 and most of the games had 90% the screen filled by only one color: black. Between the 80's and the 90's I watched games became beautiful and colorful (thanks to the Master System, NES, Genesis and SNES). But now even with those new and powerfull GPUs what is happeing? Most of the games have their screen filled with black again (just like my old Atari games). It's clreary a waste of the GPU power, even NES games had more colors... So yes, as old school gamer I think that 99% of the HD games are soulless, I saw in my childhood how beautiful a game could be, but today most of the games had the same black/brown/gray art style. This is why before the Wii my last console was a SNES and so far I have no intention of buying a Wii U.

If that how you define soulless, then that's on you. However, there is nothing soulless to me about this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9uYCU8jFiU Everything from the graphics to the water effects and the music was very soulful. Can't wait to get my hands it.

Zelda doesn't "need" anything in particular except a continued adherence to quality and craftsmanship, which would not be a change for the series.

When was the last time we had a "traditionally" constructed Zelda (that is, based on the construction of Link to the Past, not even the NES titles) with two sets of dungeons separated by the revelation of who the real enemy is and a shift in one's ability to travel through the world?

What's that? Five years ago, you say?
