EA upto their same bullshit again. At this point its not even a surprise. They make every low blow that they can to their competitors to get the upper hand. First all this name-calling and mud-slinging to COD, and now blocking off licences Forza. Fuck you EA, if you really think you make such good games, then why do you need to play dirty.

That said, I don't really care about Porsche anymore, the Carrera GT was my fav back in the day when it came out, they haven't made much after that which caught my eye (911 is meh).

i think they are in GRID too, for that matter. Its a crappy situation, fortunately for me i ve never been a sim fan. But it sucks for people who are Forza fans, it probably wont be a deal breaker for most im sure it will sell just as well

It almost was a deal breaker for me. Why play a racing Sim without the best car manufacturer?

However Top Gear being in FM4, and having Jeremy talk about every car. That saved the game for me, so I'm still getting it.

I really don't understand all the hate towards EA in this thread. They own the rights, and they have their OWN car franchise. Why in the hell would they allow another car series to have it? Give me one good reason. Oh wait, there is none.

well... that seems redundant to me, Forza is already an MS exclusive franchise, So does that mean other racing games on 360 will have no Ferarri??? I dont see that happening as the multiplat games will be better on other systems. Imagine the next NFS or whatever has Ferrari only on PS3 or hell even Wii.  I dont think MS will let that fly.

But why are people shocked anyway?? THis is EA the same bastards that bought NFL license because they knew they were about to get served by that cheaper football game

Actually for your information Turn Ten hasn't allowed EA to have Ferari in Shift 2, Hot Pursuit and a few older Black Box NFS. So I would imagine it's only fair EA would not allow Turn Ten Porsche, ever heard of the saying ' What comes around goes around.' After all EA has allowed most if not all other racing games to have Porsche

I can explain better... first 360, the deal is just for DLC so any game on 360 could have Ferrari but none by DLC... if retail games came with Ferrari it's ok, but DLC (XLive games or add content) not.

I can't say how works the deal for PC but I guess it's the same thing.

For any other plataform the Ferrari is free for use (just need to talk with Ferrari for royalties).

easy how about turn 10 puts a close in their contract nobody uses ferrarries as long as EA doesn't let everybody else use porshes... that could be fun to see how that little war would end....
