the funny thing is that i see many people hating on ea for their comments but regardless at the end of the day both games and companies are getting pubicity and as they say any publicity is good publicity

So replacing Activision rehashes with EA rehashes will suddenly make things better?  So, where exactly is what EA putting out going to be all that much different in the rehash department than what Activision does?  End result, Call of Duty dies, what do you think happens to the modern FPS market?  People will then just jump on EA... because?
