Gears of War 3 goes gold, a cake gets cut

There's not much to this story, really, so here it is: Gears of War 3 has gone gold. This means that Epic's highly-anticipated sequel is all done and ready for you to play on September 20 when the game hits shelves.

As you do when you celebrate, Epic Games cut some cake. In this case, it was a cake created to look like a Gears of War Xbox 360. A deformed one. I'm sure it was tasty. I kind of want cake. And Gears of War 3.

The marketing -- it's working!

I PRE-ordered epic edition(for my girl), Gears xbox 360, R2D2 360 for my girl for christmas. Skyrim, MW3, Battlefield 3 and I'm out of money. WIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!

Oh, I'm going to buy it and love this game to death, just like the other two but.....am I the only one who's not all that excited, anymore? It just seems like my hype for this game has dwindled. The game is going to be of the highest quality, no doubt about it. Part of me just feels that, since its reportedly been finished for almost a year, now, I'm playing an old game. Plus, I've reached the point where I'm not as easily impressed by graphics (which will possibly lack the punch they would have had months ago, too).

well you may be right about MS sells although gears is more of an American seller.

this bundle alongside the starwars(which i wouldn't mind geting myself without the game) should help make that 65m happen, but i'll remain skeptical for now.
