Well MS gets some credit for Gears they helped fund it so that's another one for them. And you don't have to be so defensive of Sony man I really enjoy their games and buy every 1st party game on day 1. It doesn't change the fact this year Sony 1st party is not doing very well at all. Socom, LBP2, and now Infamous have all posted low numbers. The game is only 10 weeks old and only did 15k WW. That is poor. KZ3 even has only been a moderate success. Sony quite simply has too many 1st party games releasing and its splitting their demographic of hardcore supporters. Its hard to generate a ton of hype around them because theres so many different ones. Your about to see the same thing with Resistance. A poor performance, and you would've from Twisted Metal as well had it not been delayed. Uncharted will probably be the only game from Sony 1st party this year to outsell its predecessor by a good amount. Which again sucks because Sony's 1st party games have all ben excellent this year besides Socom.

I really wouldn't advise CGI on not being defensive about Sony, that's just his thing. Anyway I agree, Infamous has kinda dropped off the map.

OT: Reach is doing really well!

I think any and everyone that has a preference (which would be everyone) can be a little defensive from time-to-time (you've been yourself as well, before). Since this wasn't one of those instances from either end, anyone reasonable can look past that and at the argument at hand.

Yeah from time to time, with you it's constantly I'm afraid. Just my opinion though, as you so often point out!

SEECE arguing that others have baise inpite of his history of snide comments and ad hominime deployed in trashing certain IP's and systems. The word that first comes to mind is a form of  Hypocrisy.

Just my opinion though. . .

Here's a bit of history on SEECE concerning his nonsense argument that InFamous would not crack 1 million.

as for the arguments bout ps3 exclusives in here i believe the issue is not bout how many they put out each years its how many features they have and how good they are, sony i believe still doesnt not have a FPS and TPS that can match whats on the 360 who cares bout all this infamous talk its a super hero sandbox game its not like it would of sold many millions in the first place comparing it to somethin like crackdown you'll see that review wise and sales wise its doing good

its the games that cost many millions to to make that is of concern to me resistance KZ GT uncharted ect next gen they need to get with the program i believe they should scrap these franshises well maybe not GT and go with simplicity or my phrase KISS keep it simple stupid they should focus on one really good FPS and TPS for the respected genres sci fi, morden war ect, they need to have that franshise that people can associate them with, like xbox had/has Halo and with this gen gears joined the crew i cant really associate a single game with the PS this gen

this wasnt a promblem with the last two gens and thats why i feel PS was so succesfull, they had many 3rd party exclusive good games then that sold and reviewed great, now they dont there on both platforms and this will continue to be the case even more next gen.  with MS already having two juggernuts in the FPS and TPS classes and making big strides in the sim/racer catagory with forza it will be hard for costumers to choose the PS over the xbox next gen

Nice numbers for Wii games, not too shabby for a 'dead' console.

um no, the whole KISS theory ensures that games will be dumbed down even further, variety is the spice of life. We are already drowning in FPSs with TPS being right behind. I applaud Sony for trying different things and not just giving us space marine after space marine. I rather have them make 25 great games than just 5.

3DS rises to the top!

yeah they would be nice if they were true.

This site has been overtracking Wii software for the past 4 months and no adjustments has been made yet ( Wii shipped half the software PS3 shipped last quarter but it sold a lot more based on vgchartz...)

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

According to the last Nintendo report, sales data of the major Wii games (Mario Kart, Wii Fit Plus, New Super Mario, Just Dance 2, etc) were very close to real numbers, the real problem where hardware sales.

It would interesting to see how sales of the 3DS drop the next week XD

Can I say Nintendomination!?
