"In a world with Facebook I just don’t think that’s going to last.”

The guy's logic is ridiculous. Facebook won't won't even be relevant in three to five years. And how will single player games be dead in 3 years when single player games are being developed right now that won't even see the light of day until 2014.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

I enjoy my single player. I don't see this happening, and if it does I'll have to play old games.

Certain genres live or die by their multiplayer (FPS), however, there are tons more that a greater in solo mode.

While I think multiplayer is needed in most games, I do very much like my solo experiences as well.. (batman, AC, uncharted, metroid, zelda, etc, etc)

When that day comes, gaming will also be dead.

He's wrong and thats all there is to it.
