The cheapest 360 is $350 although that is the 4gb SKU. The 250gb is $399.

The wii can be found for as little as $188 at JB hifi. The RRP is $199.

Just keep in mind all prices are in Australian dollars.

$188.00 for wii $449 for a 250gb X-box :P

Wii is kinda sorta ok, X-Box actually got MORE expensive after the new interation due to larger HDD. Utter bullshit imo

@Branko, we're essentially on equal footing with the USD, about 5 cents more give or take, so ppl thinking in USD won't be that far off :)

Not that suprising really. I always find it hilarious when these price cut threads start though, people immediately say "Microsoft/Sony (delete as applicable) will cut in a few weeks!". I don't think this has ever happened, lol. As always, the rival console manufacturer will spend a long time analysing the situation and if they do cut, it will have been planned for a long time.

Indeed, it's a rampant assumption that hardly (if ever) comes to fruition. Microsoft won't cut before the Gears & Star Wars consoles are out anyway (unless they slash $50-$100 off the asking prices of these Limited Edition bundles, which I don't see happening). Therefore, a 2012 cut of some sort is likely, with the PS3 winning the holidays WW, but maybe just matching or trailing the 360 in NA.

Matching the X360 in NA? LOL I don't think so ..

if microsoft stop handing out 360's, its possible.
