Seems it is happening. Retailers across Europe are dropping prices already. It's looking like the 160gbs are being cleared out, and the 320gbs are dropping to 249€ or so.

They wouldn't be phasing out the 160 GB models because the new ones just started hitting shelves a couple weeks ago. Not sure if that's the case yet in Europe yet though.
