60gb on December 5, 2006. I would've camped for one at launch, but the ebayers beat me to the line, so I didn't waste my time.

i got the 60gig after the price drop i was ready too pay the 600 but then the price drop rummer started and i waited but i didnt know the 80gig was about too hit stores in a few days but at the end im VERY happy whit my 60gig


i have a 60gig whit 19 gigs left and whit over 20 mvies and 15 games/demos in it along whit all the boondocks shows

i got the european 60gb + extra sixaxis + resistance + motorstorm bundle @ 600 euros. software compat with ps2

I got an 80gb ps3 on december 14 2007 and Its perfect.

I bought the 60 GB version in December of 2006. It ran until it refused to power on in early April. I called Sony and while I was waiting for a shipping box to come in I was mugged walking into my own apartment and regained consciousness to find that everything including my dead PS3 was taken. I recieved the box to ship the PS3 back on April 30th or the first monday after I was robbed on April 28th which was very frustrating(I would still have it had sony been a little quicker about sending the box).
I don't think I will be buying a PS3 again for a longtime until at least they manage to settle their SKUs and hopefully improve BC(I really liked the BC on the 60GB)

I got my 60 GB PS3 on my birthday (January 29th) in 2007.

The first one was a used 80 gig (which was more or less free) that came with Motorstorm and I also bought Ratchet and Clank.

the second one (completely free) was a 40gig without the BC that came with Eye of Judgment which I promptly sold and still have money left on the store credit.

I got a 60GB in October.

I got my 60 gig a few months after launch.

40 GB in November (Same day it was released). I enjoy it when I have games to play. I didn't need the Backward Compatibility since I have a PS2.
