Yeah if PS4 was a year late and the Xbox 720 started getting games like GTAV and CoD9 while the PS4 was still in development that would really hurt them.

OP: i for got to point out that COD coming out doesn't effect which console i buy as i am not a fan. i've just been forced to play them.

theres still other factors. COD is not to Sony wht Mario is to Nintnedo, GT5 is to Sony, or Halo is to MS even though COD continues to out perform exceeding expectations everytime and generaly being a reall drag on the indusrty.
