Only systems that depend on third party software will be affected, because that's what will be available on OnLive. If Nintendo made a system that depended on third party software, then they will get cannibalized with or without OnLive.

so we are talking about MS and PC, cause Sony hasn't needed third party at anypoint this gen.

i agree that Nintnedo doesn't need third party but it seems to be Nintendos new approach with WiiU. Nintendo will indeed have there focus on thirdparty with WiiU more so then there on IP atlease thats wht there showing me and thats wht your afraid of.

Sony's PlayStation business would be pretty much dead by now, if third parties hadn't carried their systems. gens 5 and 6 yea but this gen don't see it. Sony got through four yrs without strong 3rd party support. yea it was there, but not like your claiming.

Just taking away Call of Duty alone would be a major blow to Sony and this isn't even touching the likes of Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, Assassin's Creed and others. But as long as all these franchises remain on PlayStation, an alternative like OnLive can't do too much damage, because even the 360 which is much stronger competition couldn't stop the PS brand. ok you threw me off with this one. the last part of your statment is true, but AC and COD had a smaller hand in Sony's comeback this gen then MGS and FF. for the post part i agree with this paragraph.

does it have any exclusives that will drive people to the console? i'll bet not so why bother.

i think Rol said it perfectly. Rol also means WiiU but failed to mention it on purpose.

That is absolutely false.

While Sony's FP games are brilliant, they are NOT what mainly sells the system.

i didn't say Son'y firstparty sold the system. thirdparty is why it sales now not when the gent started.

think about how this gen started. where was Sony's thirdparty support then? Sony got to where they are on there own this gen

They got there on brand name and rainbow hopes, nothing else.

ok i got nothin for that one. you maybe (likely you are)right on that one.

Look no further but the launch-near launch lineups.

The games are not bad, but they are not what'll sell you a $600+ console, aside from the myriad of other probs Sony had during that time.

^Got some of that old console warrior material still left in me.
Though it is rapidly wavering away.

Time to look at some sales. Eight of the top ten spots are third party games, 13 out of the top 20.

those sales came from people that new those games would be on the platform, not for people that bought PS3 in its forth or fifth yrs.

now i don't beleive that one bit. there will come a time when that warrior is needed and it will be there from the legacy of gaming you bring to the table.

ok thats part of the reason and just admit it was fun and we can end it here otherwise i can just spew contrdictions that would confuse you lol.
