i think they will be bought out by sometime next year, if this vision of there's doesnt increase there profits to a healthy level.
i think m$ would be smart and buy them, it would help them increase there ip's and strengthen there 1st party studio portfolio. also i am sure they shouldn't cost them too much , too buy them.
anyways good luck to THQ , they will need it.

THQ are a waste of money.

Aside from De Blob and RF: Guerrilla. nothing good came out of them this gen. MS would be downright retarded to spend money on them... and this declaration is basically their goodbye letter.

Precisely what I thought, THQ are just useless apart from Relic

THQ own Relic?

De Blob, RF, and Warhammer!

Yup, though I would much prefer another CoH like title rather than Warhammer

Also, I would count Red Faction out of that, Guerilla was good, but I thought Armageddon kind of ruined everything?

<--------------too lazy to type Guerrilla, says only RF instead ;)

well they do own WWE games, which seem to sell well.....but Think about the people that can lose there jobs if they go under! so I hope they can make another IP that keeps them alive....maybe Darksiders2

Actually I watched a video of Saints Row 3 and I really hate the look, I would just feel embarassed playing that game, but I know the series is quite popular

High quality owned IP's? What high quality IP's? They have none!

Their business seems to be completely driven by ego. They want to be in the same league as the big boys, so they abandon their bread and butter (the licensed kids titles). It really doesn't make much business sense. They act as if making video games based on cartoons and animated movies would ever be something that dries up.

My thoughts exactly.

In a year, they will simply crash.

my thoughts exactly, but i was going to say fold and be bought out by Activision for 2 dollars lol.

i've never really liked anything THQ has done since SVR 07. darksiders rath of war is kind of cool but for me its just not good.

That 'real' translaton seems logical. I find it hard to believe that in a time where they need a good revenue flow they would stop making those games. It's significant risk for them to do so.

If Saint Rows is the now their biggest income source, it better don't fail on them.  At least the second SR pushed 3.5 million.

If SR3 sell that much, is that enough to carry them through...? Maybe if relic backs them up. But I wouldn't bet on it.

I agree with Tadpolejackson:

The general look of SR3 just looks off for me. I can't really place it - something doesn't work for me.
