So you guys don't think I'm an idiot, I'd like to admit I was joking around.

I laughed my ass off, if that's any consolation.  I wish you'd have kept it going a bit longer, actually.

Around the Network

Never has a game been more deserving.

It is a good deal when you can share the game with more people and pay less than $20 to download on the psstore, at the launch of the game.

I'm surprised that Sony didn't block it yet. Maybe they are doing this on purpose. Third World countries will spend more and maybe avoid piracy if they can pay a launch game less than $20.

infamous 2 is more expensive on the psn which makes it more impressive, why not just buy it from the shops for £30?

I think you're underestimating ease of access for people with enough disposable income.

As with EA noting Mass Effect 2 sold well enough at launch despite being more expensie than retail, I believe most titles would do okay on PSN if launched in this manner (or Live for that matter).  The reality is enough PS3 owners cleary have the income to not care about spending a bit more to just download without any additional overhead (no doubt plenty of 360 owners too).

Now, if they actually made PSN first day purchases a bit cheaper than RRP they'd really see some impressive shit I suspect... but sadly Sony and the publishers don't seem to have the wisdom of Doc Brown - nor, mor importantly,  the support of retailers who I belive insist digital titles launch at RRP even if higher than many retailers are actually selling the title at, to take that interesting next step for digital distribution.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Thanks, that means a lot coming from you. My comedy skills are slowly improving (I hope), but I still lack the necessary confidence sometimes. I shouldn't have gave up so early I guess.
