Posting pics of the victims of the current regime and blaming it on protesters? That's mighty big of 'em.

First they announce that they'll hack facebook, now this.
I'm beginning to like them.
What is happening in Syria is certainly confusing. One side is stating that the Syrian government are cometing crimes and killing protestors while the other side is claiming that their are armed protesters that are killing the Syrian soldeirs in the most brutal ways(I have seen videos on the Internet that can't be described). I as Syrian don't really care if the basar regime stays, but what really scares is what is going to happens if the regime fell. The horrible things that might happen if the regime went down are not so encouraging.

I have been watching the so-called "evidence" that the Syrian government is putting forward about these so called armed gangs. You can tell it's fabricated, just like when Hosni Mubarak began blurting out nonsense before his downfall. These soldiers that are being killed are being executed by other soldiers for refusing orders, and defected soldiers attested to this. The same thing happened in Libya: Anyone who refused orders was shot.
As for the horrible things that might happen: As long as it's a united stand from the people against the government, we won't have a Iraq situation on our hands.

They don't care if people buy it or not. They'll force their views on the people just to shoot the protestors up.
But no matter: They won't be able to get away with another Hama incident (see Hama Massacre).

Once this is all over, the entire Syrian army should be arrested and jailed for life.

Soldiers generally just follow orders. They're either like kids/mercenaries, or are just afraid of repercussions. It's the high command that needs to be brought down.
Something you should know: The regime is dominated by Alawis. And most of their supporters are also Alawis. There are Alawis that disassociated themselves with the regime, but they haven't joined the protests. The people who are protesting are primarily Syrian Sunnis, with Kurds and some groups of Assyrians.
Now the military and police forces are also mostly Alawis: The army is Alawi majority, the elite Republican Army and 4th Mechanized Division is exclusively Alawi, and the only exception is the air force, which is Sunni majority.
I can bet you anything that the majority of the defected soldiers are Sunnis. The Alawis (with of course, the occasional corrupt Sunni) in the military are either truly a bunch of savages loyal to the regime, or are too afraid to leave either because of fear of execution, or being victims of Sunni hate crimes once Assad is gone.
If the people can just convince the Alawis to join the protests...Assad will be gone before we know it.
Edit: But if they succeed, they must NOT let America or Russia interfere.

Sorry, I've never accepted the whole 'just following orders' argument. People have free will, so it's their own choice to do something (even an order from a military superior). Soldiers should be held accountable for whatever horrifc things they commit.
BTW, what is an Alawi?
