this is nothing more then great news, if only more dev's had this level of dedication.

What stuck with me about his statement was:

"I assure you, better to be a LITTLE ANNOYED in the short term versus hate us forever for shipping a game that's not up to your understandably high expectations."

It's sad that I can't count on two hands the number of games I know of that would have been better with a little bit more development time for fine-tuning. These guys know how to create a game that will receive good word of mouth.

i couldn't agree more if i tried, but considering the your statement is true i'll agree more.

That sounds very Blizzard to me.  Have to love Devs who want you not only to buy their games, but wants you to LOVE them.

The fact that he is telling us what the delays are for....thats just blows my mind.  Im not a huge fan of these type of games, but this type of announcement makes me a fan.

Well I'm glad they are striving to make the game as perfect as they can.

This game should have plenty of hype! Well I only know the only big competition at the moment is ME3 but other than that it looks like it can do pretty well

I'd prefer to wait and get a diamond then to get it sooner only to get a piece of gold. I'm glad their doing this and taking the project very seriously. Awesome Eat, Sleep, Play is awesome.

I agree with several here. We usually hear bs excuses about the delays with no explanations whatsoever and in the age of the internet, there is no excuse for companies to keep their customers in the dark. As much of a fan as I am of Sony, even they have made this mistake, but hopefully they learn little by little. Back on topic, the fact that they go into detailed explanations as to what they plan to fix and why, really means alot in the eyes of the consumer, and that alone should be enough for potential customers to give them a shot.

Make games, not war (that goes for ridiculous fanboys)

I may be the next Maelstorm or not, you be the judge http://videogamesgrow.blogspot.com/  hopefully I can be more of an asset than a fanboy to VGC hehe.
