If only they did these tv's in 32 inch :(
Does anyone know if they have any plans to make a similar deal in Eurpope (esp. UK)? I so wanna buy this!
I tried Motrostorm Apocalypse at my local store (hmv) and I was blown away by the awesomeness of the 3d effects. I tried several other games, but I didn't like them that much (Mortal Kombat was ok and Black Ops just awful; I had to switch off the 3d).

freaken awsume now if they create the same deal and a PS3! that would be even better!
yikes 24 inches kinda small always thought it was a 32
any info on what type of panel there using for that LCD, gaming on plasmas or lcds with IPS panel is really the way to go for gaming theres a big difference with the motion blur, response times, and viewing angles
also all that 120 and 240hrz from what i experienced is a bunch of crap for gaming you get more input lag with it on and cross hairs tend to have a very noticeable blur and doubling, you also have other disturbances with the edges on fast moving objects b/c of the added frames that werent indented to be there, you really want the natural 60hrz that alot of things were design to have

Play Me
Not bad.
I will have to wait and see what other places offer deal wise.
Isn't it odd that Sony is pushing for a 23.5'' TV? They want the move PS3 into the bedroom instead of staying in the living room?
I don't understand what sane person is going to buy this.
This can't be used for computer as a 3D monitor which is the only area where a small size like that is acceptable. For consoles, people strapped for cash that want to experience 3D can save up another 200-300 and buy a 720p 50 inch samsung or LG 3D TV.
Also there a few 24 inch 3D monitors which are coming out for the same price that are compatible with PS3 and Nvidia PC and completely destroy this monitor in terms of specs. 4ms GTG response time is going to be ghosting headache.

Seems you don't quite understand it's purpose. Most people probably wouldn't try to use it as a monitor, let alone buy it for a big living space and then complain about size. Also, it doesn't matter what "other" monitor out there has better specs than this, this display has specs no other device has (Sony patented). Therefore, that's pretty insignificant. |
specs don't matter because it's made by Sony? Say what?
