The numbers from Nintendo is what they have sold as of 31 March 2011. the ones from VGChartz are as of 30 July 2011. That's a difference of 4 months.

The only LTD numbers for the week ending 2nd April 2011 I could find are:

Why post BW's Q1 figures when we've already got Q2?
Pokemon Black / White (1.36m / 12.87m lifetime)
Other than that, I'm nigh certain that BW will overtake DP now. Less than 5m when it shipped 1.36m in the last quarter should be a piece of cake. Considering this'll be its first holiday, BW could even close the gap before the year ends! Heck, 20m LT is still looking possible to me.

VGC quite spot on, except for Heart Gold & Soul Silver. Impressive sales, Pokémon is not gonna die any time soon. Great asset for Nintendo handhelds.
