Damn you Sony! Oh wait... it's not actually developed by Sony or within their control. Damn you Jaffe!
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

You can go ahead and add Atelier Totori, Disgaea 4, ICO Collection and WKC 2 to that list too.

This, and to the haters. I wonder if they said the same thing about ME3??
I saw this comeing from a mile away.
They can say it was dut to development and not being ready but its actually probably a business and marketing choice. The game simply wouldn't have help up against the massive holiday lineup this year and financially it makes a lot more sense to release next year.
Sweet! Too many great games are coming out in 2011. One less game to buy and I'm looking forward to Twisted Metal in 2012.

All the stuff about GT5 is pure speculation. You mind showing me a link where PD ever said they built up too much hype, so they needed more time? It would be much appreciated. Until then, It's all just some guy's view on the matter at hand. They delayed it so the end product would be better for them and the consumer, same for Twisted Metal. They could have released it earlier, but obviously it would have been better for them not to. Developers don't just delay games because they want to. They do it for legitimate reasons, whether it be to finish the game, to avoid competition, or whatever. Delays are most likely for the better. And no, I'm not in 10 years old. I don't even know if that's possible. |
what speculation and what are you talking about?
u think PD will come out and tell everybody 'oh we announced it way too early and then didn't show anything so now we got satan up are asses'?
yeah they delyed so the end product will be good, isn't that the same with every product in the world.
anything can be improved with extra time on it but if the product is up too par now so you can release it.
TM PS3 will be better than it will be in fall but that doesn't mean it is not good.
if you have been following Eat Sleep Play's work and TM PS3,it should be done by now to the target that they set
"And no, I'm not in 10 years old. I don't even know if that's possible."
i understand you refuse but you talk about its possibility...............lmao
I think Sony is just a little too optimistic about release dates and announce them too early, I wanted to get this game sooner rather then later but it's probably for the best in the long run.

You can't assume the game can be ready in October. For all we know, the devs just found a huge bug rendering the game broken. I'm not saying the game isn't already finished. It may be, It may not. You, nor I, the current status of this game. All we can do is speculate.
My point stands: They obviously had a good reason(s) to delay the game. Be it to add polish, fix a bug, avoid competition, increase exposure, etc. The fact of the matter is: delaying the game is beneficial to consumers, developers, and Sony. If it wasn't, then the game wouldn't have been delayed. Plain and simple.
