Forums - Nintendo - A problem we may face by having Brawl tournaments

I think it wouldn't be hard to make a patch, but i think if they make one it will be when the game sells a few million copies, though to me when i eventually get Brawl in what feels like eternity (2 yrs), 64 is enough for me.

Nintendo fan, though i also like the PS1-era Sony

Sales Predictions (+-.5mil) at end of fiscal 2007

Wii- 23 million- Brawl will hopefully make it higher.
360-20 million- GTA IV's release date will be a big factor
PS3- 12 million- Same as 360, MGS4 also big factor

Im not talking about a patch for SSBB , im talking about a patch for Wifi connection total - it would be simple - tie the unique friend code of the system to a username, first step, second step would be to make more interactive use of the online features, chat would be welcome.

Oh , and dont forget that the Wii can use USB keyboards for typing online or within the Wii menu as it is now. (wireless USB KB = win)

Wow, entering 50 friend codes means entering 800 digits...with a Wii remote!

Too much work.

75% of my posts are done with the Wii. It's not as bad as you think. Heck, I'm Wii typing right now.☆○◇□△◎

Yeah, I sometimes post with my Wii, too.  But it's in short spurts.  I was just picturing the task of entering 800 numbers in one sitting.  Even if you hit a number each second (on average) it would take near fifteen minutes.

I'm too lazy for that ;) I guess no 50-person tournies for me.

My End of 2008 Hardware Predictions (console only):

Wii : 50 million

360: 28 million

PS3: 24 million

These predictions were made on January 3rd and won't be revised

I'd love to see tournement lobbies. Only thing the online really needs.
