I have always noticed a link between right-wing ideology and preferring Microsoft consoles. I would put it down to nationalism, except for the fact that that is ludicrous.

A couple of other things: the Democrats are not left-wing, and this site is left-wing on the whole.

OT: PS3, and right-of-centre, but still a Democrat (though a Conservative Party supporter).

Interesting poll.

Although I think for a fair comparison between countries democrats should be included in centrist, maybe even conservative. On a global scale they aren't liberal at all.

I find that very hard to believe.

It's true. The rest of the world is far more progressive socially (government run healthcare, emphasis on public education, etc.). America's fixation on extremist capitalism means even our left is other people's right.

But the majority of democrats want that don't they?

There are 3 major parties in Mexico:
The left-winged PRD
The centre PRI
The right-winged PAN

The paty that is closer to the Dems is the PAN, The GOP in Mexico would be seen as far right, even extreme-right. The Dems would be looked as a right-winged party.

Well I guess you learn something new everyday.

Woo Hoo! I'm in the vast minority (wii and center). Actually, I am a libertarian so I think the dem and repubs both leave much to be desired.

At any rate, since I am the vast minority, I will now expect preferential treatment and governmental interference on behalf of my views.
