Yes, the cycle of doom swingeth again to Nintendo's distemper.

This time it'll probably last at least until the Wii U releases before we start declaring one of the other 2 to be doomed.

You just sound like a guy who is trying to justify spending a stupid amount for a console that is full of remakes that we have all played before. 


I'm with Maverick. The 3DS needs games and not games we all played before. MGS Snake Eater 3D. See this is where Nintendo failed with that. Letting Konami release the MGS collection on Xbox 360 and PS3 with 3D support instead of Striking a deal with them just destroyed that whole release. It was the only game Nintendo had for the 3DS that made me want to buy one and now I can get the game before it releases on the 3DS and play it in 3d on my PS3 with trophies and updated HD graphics Lol.

Zelda Ocarnia of time. Great on the N64, but I've no desire to replay a game I played to death back in the day. Also is another Mario game for the 100th time really going to save the 3DS. Do I think the 3DS is doomed? Nope but just like the PS3 I think its going to fail hard at reaching the goals of its predicesor and the recent 3DS price drop did nothing to convince people the 3DS has a bright future

no one knows better on how to scream doom than ninty fans on this site :)

but honestly, people actually say 3ds is doomed? :S honestly don't think I have seen that much..can't be more than few times I'm sure.
is it going through a rough time? without a doubt...only a fool would deny this. But will they bounce back? without a doubt as well..so all is good

This place would be boring without anything doomed, it's just the 3DS turn this week. Next week it might be the PS Vita, who knows.

I`ll wait to see Nintendo playing all it`s cards and failing to make 3DS sell, to say that the console is doomed. Before that it is just speculation.

DS' success will be hard to repeat but doesn`t mean the console will be a failure. We are just at the beggining.
