RolStoppable said: I would make the fights more realistic. Pokémon should be able to bleed and lose limbs which would affect the abilities they can use in battle. Misty (or her equivalent) needs an upgrade to her front and back side. A more mature story that deals with the inner struggles of a Pokémon trainer. Is it morally correct to have animals fight against each other until one of them dies? Why is there an urge to walk into the grass everytime you leave a town? What is the meaning of life? |
For the first, come one its a 3+ game, they don't want to make it into an 18+ lol. Manhunt:Pokemon edition.
For the second, yea we could all appreciate that.
For the third, B/W actually did deal with some of the morality issues of catching/fighting pokemon, too bad it was watered down for the kiddies. Btw the meaning of life is 42, which in Japanese is Shi-ni, which translated is death.
Anyway being serious, as a HUGE pokemon fan I think I like where Gamefreak is taking pokemon actually. Without messing with the amazing core gameplay, they are putting a lot of focus into integrating online features into the game, which is what pokemon needs. With the 3DS, that should be even better as the 3DS has a much better online interface than the DS.
But I also do agree with quite of lot of others that they could change the story to be more interesting, the 8 gym badges is nice and all, but some changes to make it a bit more cinematic would be nicer. Plus a mainstream pokemon game on the console could really help in that regard, well we can all hope.
