Just interested in the statistics in gauging the sales for XIII-2.

I'll be getting it almost certainly on day 1. I'm not exactly a huge fan of FFXIII, but I liked it enough to get it's sequel. It's just that despite previous FF games being among my favourite games of all time, I am only 'moderately hyped' for XIII-2. I'm certain it will be a 'good' game at least, but previous FF games such as IV, VI and IX were more than just 'good' they are IMO among the greatest RPGs ever produced.

i might get it, i did the mistake of getting XIII on day one which i regret, i should have waited 2 months until it was already in the bargain bin it literally fell in price that fast where i live could have saved something equal to 40$.
i will be checking the reviews watching gameplay videos and then will consider if it will be worth buying, I doubt it will

Depends on the games releasing that period.. and the backlog of games I still need to buy.. lets just say it's not on number 1 to get...

I will be getting the game on release even though i was very underwhelmed by XIII but i can't not buy the game to continue the story. I just hope that they implement some (if not all) of the changes to the game that the fans have been demanding. The main ones for me are towns, the freedom to explore the world (as in previous FF games) and the all important side quests that make the games feel so huge!

Time will tell though!

You really care about mini-games and NPC's? What if they completely ruin the story, the battle system or the music etc. Would it all be worth it for mini-games and NPC's?

Yes, it is among my priorities.

Or what if the mini-games and NPC's are that good that people forget about the bad story?  If FXIII-2 has a collosseum I will get it.


Probably get the game like a half year after release, got the last one from the bargain bins for like 8 Euro.
