I daresay the 3DS has long before pwned the DS in their respective first years, and if Nintendo stays smart to continue the momentum (it's already doing so for the first half of 2012, now for them to plan the other half) well then Nintendo's next golden age in the arena of handhelds might just start right away (seeing how the Vita's struggling, but it's definitely going to be a big, big rival for the 3DS to keep in check).

Truly amazing sales for 3DS. Nintendo might actually make their 16m target. And there's still another week to go. Hopefully Nintendo continues this in 2012 by releasing at least another 6 titles, ideally in all regions.

I have over 500 people on mine and over 550 times. I'm sure I'd have more if I hadn't stopped doing it for awhile after I unlocked everything awhile ago. At least until they updated it again with new puzzles and surechigai densetsu 2!

I get 10 people everytime I go to Sofmap or Bic Camera on a weekend or holiday.

I've got about half of that.

I live in a small town. Not so many 3DS owners around...
